The Omsk Academic Drama Theatre holds an honored place among the oldest theatres in Russia. It was founded in 1874 and continues to attract audiences who want to learn more about productions and actors. As part of various projects, plays presented include "Russian Classics on the Omsk Stage", "Eternal Myth", "The Actress", "An American Play on the Omsk Stage", "Molière — Today", as well as exhibitions dedicated to the work of Nozhery Tonishvili, Aleksandra Shchegoleva, Boris Kashirin, Elena Psareva, Valeria Prokop — Honored Artist of Russia. Current projects include "Remembrance", "The Performance Runs Today" and others.
