In the very heart of Tverskoy Boulevard stands a neat mansion that is a true witness to old Moscow. It blends harmoniously into the dynamic life of the big city and carries a unique aroma of history. Upon entering the Maria Nikolaevna Yermolova House-Museum, one has the feeling that time has stopped for a moment. Here you can see an enfilade of rooms whose color schemes combine late 18th-century Classicism and the Art Nouveau of the turn of the 19th–20th centuries. You can also see theater posters, stage props, costume sketches and the authentic costumes in which M. N. Yermolova performed roles and recited poetry. Traditions are still preserved in this house, and visitors can feel the atmosphere of the 18th century. The memory of the great Russian actress Maria Nikolaevna Yermolova will always live here.
