MAUK RGO 'Ruzsky Local History Museum' is one of the oldest museums in the Moscow Region, with a history that begins in 1906, when the museum was founded with funds from the county sobriety committee. Over its long existence a museum collection was formed, assembled by patrons and antiquities enthusiasts since the 1910s. The museum hosts various events: tours, lectures, conferences, educational classes for schoolchildren, exhibitions, round tables, festive events, competitions, master classes, career guidance programs, themed clubs, meetings with pensioners, people with disabilities, large families, film screenings, and activity on social media. In addition, the museum produces local history video content for online promotion.
