About museum
Kino Gallery was founded in 1996 and is located in the center of Moscow between the Old Arbat and Patriarch's Ponds. It has a total area of 150 sq. m, a transformable and technologically equipped space with a minimalist design that emphasizes intimacy and coziness. Over the years Kino Gallery has gained wide recognition and authority due to its active creative work, major exhibition projects, and programs. The gallery's strategy is to reflect contemporary artistic phenomena, including the artistic heritage of the 1960s–1980s, as well as current art. Kino Gallery was also the first to hold an exhibition of works by nonconformist artists who achieved international fame.
