About museum

On April 8, 1997, the City Museum of Theatrical Art was established on the initiative of the Omsk branch of the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation (STD RF). The museum's main goal is to consolidate the archives and fully showcase Omsk theatrical art. The museum's collection contains more than 12,400 items, of which 7,900 are on display. The museum houses video, audio, photo and text materials, personal archives, paintings and graphic works. Visitors can get a comprehensive overview of Omsk theatrical art.
