Military Medical Museum is a unique site of cultural heritage of federal significance with a rich collection of medical exhibits from various eras. It traces its origins to the earliest medical collections of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union. It is one of the largest museums in the world in terms of the richness of its holdings (over 450,000 exhibits), reflecting the main stages in the development of Russian medicine and the contribution of its outstanding representatives to the world's scientific heritage. The exhibition "Medicine of Russia and Saint Petersburg" is on display here, as well as the permanent exhibition "Humane Weapon of Victory", dedicated to the selfless work of Soviet military medics during the Great Patriotic War, and a children's center. A whole range of programs has been created here for school and family audiences: a series of classes "Entertaining Science", and the quests "To Reach Berlin" and "The Hero's Return".
