Shushenskoye Museum-Reserve is part of a Siberian village from the late 19th – early 20th century that has been preserved and partially reconstructed. It is one of the particularly valuable cultural heritage sites of Krasnoyarsk Krai. The museum grounds include the memorial museum-reserve 'V. I. Lenin's Siberian Exile', the architectural and ethnographic complex 'New Village' with estates, and a park area. On site you can see peasant houses, the volost administration building with a prison, a shop, and a tavern. Visitors can take part in general and themed tours and see demonstrations of traditional crafts. The museum hosts folklore and entertainment programs for children and adults that allow immersion in the atmosphere of a peasant homestead. Here you can learn many interesting facts about the life of Siberians and see the places where V. I. Lenin was quartered.
