Sporting heritage is an integral part of world cultural history and is of great value for understanding the past, analyzing the present and forecasting the future. In 1993 a public sports museum was established at the School of Higher Sports Mastery, which quickly developed thanks to a collection of two thousand exhibits. It is currently part of the State Autonomous Institution "Center for Sports Training of Kuzbass National Teams." In 2011 the exhibition hall was renovated, and in 2021 a branch opened in the Kuzbass Ice Palace with permanent exhibitions. Lectures on the history of Kuzbass sport are also held for educational institutions. The museum offers an exceptional opportunity for everyone to understand the connection between the past and the future in sport.
