About museum
The Department of Children's and Youth Aesthetic Education of the A. S. Pushkin State Museum operates on the basis of developmental psychology, the cultural expectations of contemporary society, and the museum's collections. Classes are held in the exhibition halls as well as in the studios, workshops, and classrooms of the Center for Aesthetic Education. They are built on the development of existing pedagogical methods and new programs, and on the use of audiovisual media and the Internet. At the end of the year, students present their creative achievements at children's drawing exhibitions, musical evenings, and musical‑literary performances.
