About museum

Since 2000, a memorial room located at 5th Zapadnaya Street, 58, has been opened once a year, presenting documents and archival materials dedicated to one of the tragic chapters in Altai's history. The exhibition displays physical evidence, documents, interrogation transcripts, letters, character references, petitions, etc., providing a comprehensive picture of the repressions against the region's inhabitants. Relatives of the victims of repression and all who are interested in the fate of the people are invited to the museum's opening. A free guided tour is held during the event with a curator who is ready to answer any questions.
