KGF Center for Contemporary Art at MPGU
About museum
The KGF Center for Contemporary Art was established at MPGU — one of the largest universities in Russia. In the two years since the Center's founding it has held more than 10 exhibitions and 30 events, including lectures, film screenings, creative meetings, symposia, and round-table discussions. The Center's main focus is the promotion of contemporary sculpture, the discovery of young sculptors, and assisting them in realizing their talents. Although sculpture remains the Center's priority, it also hosts events aimed at promoting contemporary painting and photography. The Center has presented projects such as A Matter of Antimatter, exhibitions of works by Yulia Malinina and Viviana del Rio, a solo exhibition by Bato Dugarzhapov, the art festival 'Art in Everyone's Life', and the exhibition 'Unrealized Project'. The KGF CCA is a rapidly developing urban cultural platform aimed at promoting contemporary art and helping artists realize their talents.
