Krasny Rog — the place about which Aleksey Konstantinovich Tolstoy wrote, 'it is not Rome, but very beautiful'. The writer's memorial museum is located here; it is a reconstructed A. K. Tolstoy estate. Visitors can see objects related to the writer's life, as well as the memorial wing and a lovely park. Nearby are a unique wooden church, built in 1777, and a tomb where the remains of A. K. Tolstoy and his wife S. A. Tolstoy are interred. Visitors can enjoy the area's unique natural beauty and learn about the history of one of Russia's greatest writers.
