A.P. Chekhov House-Museum (branch of the GMI RLI named after V.I. Dahl)
About museum
A.P. Chekhov is one of the greatest playwrights of all time, the author of numerous literary masterpieces, many of which were created in this very house.
Visitors to the house-museum will have a unique opportunity to glimpse the early years of the writer's life, see many personal belongings, and visit the garden next to the house. The interior has been carefully restored and still looks as it did in Chekhov's time. Here you can see the living room, the writer's study, the bedroom, as well as the rooms of his brother Mikhail and his sister Maria.
The house-museum is a magical reminder of the painstaking work behind the creation of famous literary masterpieces and of the legacy left by A.P. Chekhov.
