The 'New Jerusalem' Museum is one of the largest museums in the country. It is located in an unusual modern building that contains more than 10,000 sq. m. of exhibition space. Here you can see unique historical exhibits in a contemporary space supplemented by multimedia technologies. The museum's own collection numbers 190,000 storage units and includes archaeological, historical, ethnographic, and art collections.
Alongside permanent exhibitions, the museum regularly hosts temporary exhibition projects. Among the artists presented here in recent years are Aivazovsky, Shishkin, Levitan, Picasso, Kustodiev, Dürer, Falk, Fabergé, Chagall, Rubens, Repin, and many others.
