About museum

The Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve offers visitors the opportunity to see the unique exhibition "In the World of the Holy Quran", compiled from two private collections. The gallery presents facsimile and printed editions of the Quran, folios that reproduce originals held in museums and private collections of Andalusia, North and Central Africa, Central Asia, India, China, the Malay Peninsula, and Russia. The Rare Collections Gallery aims to draw attention to items from private collections in Russia and, in the future, from all corners of the world.
