The Winzavod Centre for Contemporary Art is the first and largest private centre for contemporary art in Russia, bringing together galleries, educational programs, studios, workshops and showrooms. It provides a wide audience with access to all areas of contemporary culture and supports Russian art. For further development, the centre established the Foundation for the Support of Contemporary Art, which includes projects such as Start, Open Studios, The Wall, the Art Criticism Laboratory (in collaboration with the Baza Institute), the Journalism Laboratory, Winzavod. OPEN and the Generation Art leadership program. All these projects are aimed at offering emerging professionals in the fields of art and culture greater opportunities.
