About museum

Moscow is directly connected with the life and work of Sergei Yesenin. There are many places in the city associated with the poet. In 2010, an office was opened on Chernyshevsky Lane and was named after Sergei Yesenin. In this location and on the nearby streets from Novaya Bozhedomka to Miusskaya Square of A. L. Shanyavsky University, S. A. Yesenin held creative evenings and debates, trying to find his audience. Today the "Yesenin Center" is located here, hosting exhibitions, performances, plays, concerts and poetry events. A permanent exhibition dedicated to Sergei Yesenin's Moscow is planned to be created in the near future.
