About museum
The State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Ingushetia was founded on May 27, 1993, and is one of the largest museums in Ingushetia. The museum's activities cover various areas: the collection, preservation and study of works of fine art, as well as exhibition and educational activities. Currently the museum has more than 2,000 exhibits, which are divided into painting, graphics, decorative and applied arts, and sculpture. The permanent collections began to take shape in 1994. The museum regularly hosts various events: interactive educational programs, themed exhibitions, lectures, competitions, master classes, charity events and festive exhibitions. The museum is still young, but it can already offer visitors unforgettable encounters with contemporary artists and their work.
