National Literary Museum is the pride of Bashkortostan, existing for almost 20 years. It is tasked with preserving the memory of the national cultural heritage and acquainting people with the development of the literary process in their native land. The museum has accumulated a large collection of books, portraits of writers and unique items, as well as personal belongings of well-known Bashkir writers. In total the museum has five branches. It carries out research, celebrations and musical evenings, as well as traveling exhibitions and engaging lectures. The National Literary Museum offers the opportunity to learn the history of Bashkir literature and gain useful knowledge.
