About museum

On April 12, 2007 the 'Samara Space' museum was opened. It is intended to promote knowledge and achievements in the field of space rocket engineering, as well as to acquaint young people with national values. The museum offers educational programs for various categories of visitors: children, students, retirees, specialists from Samara enterprises and organizations, as well as visitors to the city. One of the museum's main attractions is the Soyuz launch vehicle, which has become a symbol of Samara. The rocket and the museum building together form a memorial complex that serves as an example of a successful architectural solution in the city.
