Exhibition Hall named after Y. V. Karapaev

About museum

In 2006, an Exhibition Hall was opened in Klin, which in 2007 became part of the municipal cultural institution MBUK "Klin Museum Association." It hosts local history, patriotic, and art exhibitions, and also attracts exhibitions from other cities and abroad. Amateur applied artists can display their works here. The hall's cooperation with the creative organization "Union of Artists of the Moscow Region" led to the unification of Klin artists. In 2010 the hall was named after People's Artist of Russia Y. V. Karapaev. The venue holds city and ceremonial gatherings and mass events, as well as concerts for smaller audiences. Artists donate easel paintings and sculptures to the museum, which helps expand the art collection of the Klin Museum Association.
