Shaikhzada Babich Museum

The Shaikhzada Babich Museum is part of the State Budgetary Institution of Culture and Arts 'National Literary Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan'. It was opened on the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding master of Bashkir artistic word Shaikhzada Babich. It is located in the northwestern part of the Republic of Bashkortostan, in the Dyurtyulinsky District, in the village of Asyanovo, where the poet was born. The museum consists of three exhibition halls: the history hall of the village of Asyanovo, the hall of Shaikhzada Babich's life and work, and the ethnography hall. The exhibitions feature works of painting, graphics, and sculpture, household items, photographs and documents about the poet's life and work, portraits, books about him, as well as personal belongings of Shaikhzada and his family. The museum's collection contains more than 600 exhibits. The museum invites visitors to get acquainted with Bashkir culture and art, to feel the spirit of the times and the world of Shaikhzada Babich.
