About museum

In the apartment that houses the memorial museum of the classic of Kabardian literature A. A. Shogentsukov (1900–1941), he spent the last years of his life. Here he wrote his final works, and then went to the front, where he died in a German concentration camp near Bobruysk. The museum faithfully recreates the interiors of two memorial rooms, one of which is Shogentsukov's study, containing his writing desk with an inkwell, pens, manuscript pages, and his best books. In addition, there is an exhibition presenting the life and creative work of A. Shogentsukov.
