A. I. Kuprin Museum
About museum
The A. I. Kuprin Museum was opened in September 1981 with the active participation and support of the writer's daughter, K. A. Kuprina. The museum's exhibition is housed in the Shlykov House, rebuilt in 1891 on the surviving foundation of the burned-down house that belonged to the writer's parents. In September 1990, an exhibition hall of the A. I. Kuprin Museum was opened in an adapted building, used for events and exhibitions. Every year the Kuprin Literary Festival is held in Penza and Narovchat.
