Kugarchinsky Local History Museum
About museum
The idea of creating the Kugarchinsky museum emerged in 1980 in connection with the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Today the museum is a modern repository of the region's history that meets all requirements. Three halls have been arranged. The first hall tells the history of the region up to 1941 and also features the diorama "Muradymovo Gorge." The second hall presents the diorama "The Great Patriotic War," and the third hall is set up as a yurt and is dedicated to the contemporary life of the Kugarchinsky district. All halls of the museum display photographs, archival materials and maps that allow visitors to obtain extensive information about the region's history.
