In the house where the museum of Konstantin Sergeyevich Stanislavsky is located, he lived the last 17 years of his life — he was a great reformer of Russian theatre, an outstanding director and actor. In 1948 a memorial museum was opened here. The exhibition is devoted to the life and work of Stanislavsky and his wife — the Moscow Art Theatre actress M. P. Lilina. In the museum you can see the living rooms, 'Onegin Hall', the 'Blue Foyer' and other rooms. There are also permanent collections of theatrical items, furniture, books, costumes, and photographs. You can also appreciate the historical and architectural features of the building here. The museum offers tours, lectures and exhibitions dedicated to the art of the Moscow Art Theatre.
