About museum
The V. V. Veresaev House-Museum is the only literary museum in the city of Tula. It is dedicated to the life and work of Vikenty Veresaev (Smidovich), a writer and literary critic. The museum displays the personal belongings of the writer and his parents: photographs, documents, portraits, and books with autographs. The house features interiors of the Smidovich family's living rooms from the late 19th to early 20th centuries, the writer's Moscow study, and a library. The museum hosts various events: tours, creative evenings, literary salons, and musical concerts. Museum-educational programs are also offered for schoolchildren. Ramps are provided for visitors with disabilities.
