About museum
The main museum building is a monument of history and architecture of federal significance, built in the late 1760s–early 1770s in the provincial Baroque style. Currently the building houses exhibitions dedicated to the life and work of Aleksey Koltsov and Ivan Bunin, as well as two memorial rooms of Alexander Ertel and Nikolai Zadonsky. On December 15, 2011, the museum exhibitions "Andrei Platonov" and "Osip Mandelstam in Voronezh" were opened. At the moment the second-floor halls and the exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Ivan A. Bunin are temporarily closed to visitors due to renovation work. The museum is a branch of the I. S. Nikitin Voronezh Regional Literary Museum.
