Tula Regional Exotarium. Old Exhibition
About museum
The Exotarium was founded in 1987 and is home to one of the world's largest collections of snakes. Here you can find offspring of rare animal species, many of which are little studied. In addition, the zoo is one of the most visited museums in Tula, where visitors can see more than 70 species of animals — from the reticulated python to the long-eared hedgehog. The Exotarium's staff make a significant contribution to the study of the reptiles and amphibians of Southeast Asia. Since 2003 the zoo has opened its doors to visitors at night three times a year. Thus, there is something interesting and unique for every visitor.
