About museum

Museum complex located at 56 Shpalernaya Street, opposite the Tauride Palace, consists of a water tower and the former reservoir of the main water supply station. It features three exhibitions: 'Water World of Saint Petersburg', 'Underground World of Petersburg' and 'Universe of Water'. The first exhibition displays wells, wooden pipes, copper washbasins, ceramic washbasins, old blueprints and photographs. The second exhibition features a model of the city's historic center. In the third exhibition visitors can learn about the mystery, the remedy, the destroyer, the standard, and the music of water. Interactive programs for children of all ages and family-themed programs are also offered. To visit the 'Underground World of Petersburg' and 'Universe of Water' exhibitions, you must join a guided tour, while the 'Water World of Saint Petersburg' exhibition can be toured independently.
