The museum presents the achievements of world medicine over the past 100 years.\r\n\r\nThe museum houses 300,000 various exhibits: objects, documents, operation logs, medical instruments and equipment of well-known Russian medical scientists. The exhibition "100 Years of the People's Commissariat of Health" allows visitors to see the first artificial circulation apparatus, the first transplants of an artificial heart and a cardiopulmonary complex into a dog. The exhibition also features public health education materials, newsreel footage, equipment and instruments, photographs of pioneering surgeries and patents for inventions. This exhibition makes it possible to appreciate the accomplishments of world medicine over the past 100 years.
