People's Museum of the Starovelychkovskoye Rural Settlement

\r\nOn May 2, 1996, the People's Museum of the History of the Starovelychkovskaya Stanitsa was opened. Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation Anna Ilyinichna Logvinenko collected local history materials for the museum for many years together with her pupils. This place preserves the memory of the past, of remarkable people and significant events that occurred on the territory of the Starovelychkovskoye settlement. The first hall of the museum presents the history of the Kuban Cossacks and the process of founding the stanitsa from 1794 until the establishment of Soviet power in 1918, as well as the periods from 1920 to 1941 and the first Komsomol members. The second hall presents the history of the Great Patriotic War, as well as the period of recovery of the local economy from 1943 and its development up to the year 2000. The exhibition 'A Man Is Glorified by His Labor' encompasses 57 years of development and recovery of the local economy, as well as individual human stories, failures and successes.
