About museum

The Museum of the History of Medicine and Pharmacy 'RetroPharmaMed' was founded in 2007 on the basis of the 'Zdorovye' dental clinic. The exhibition features equipment and instruments used by surgeons, urologists, obstetricians, gynecologists, ophthalmologists, otorhinolaryngologists and other specialists. In the museum you will find authentic exhibits from the 17th–20th centuries from the Russian Empire, North and South America, countries of the East and Europe. Special attention is paid to pharmacy.
The museum's programs are adapted for a wide range of visitors. A visit will be an interesting experience not only for doctors and pharmacists, but also for students, schoolchildren, and people interested in history and culture in general.
