\r\nIn 2005, a Museum of Historical and Cultural Heritage dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was opened in the center of Zelenodolsk. Although the museum building lacks architectural embellishments, it is an important repository of the historical and cultural heritage of the multiethnic Zelenodolsk district. The museum features four exhibitions dedicated to the city's history: 'Zelenodolsk. The First Pages of History', 'Zelenodolsk. The Era of Great Construction Projects', 'Romanovsky Bridge' and 'Zelenodolsk - To the Front'. They display ancient monuments, archival documents, military items and the history of the heroic feats of Zelenodolsk residents who hastened the Great Victory.
