On November 4, 1936, the Museum of Nature and Man opened its doors to visitors. Since then it has been one of the largest and most modern cultural centers in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. It houses the rich historical and cultural heritage of Yugra and displays exhibits within a contemporary designer layout of its exhibition spaces. The museum presents various collections, including archaeology, paleontology, ethnography, historical and everyday life collections, biology, bonistics (banknote collection), rare books, early printed books and more. Each year it is visited by over 100,000 people. The museum is a unique and valuable place, so you should visit it!
