A. S. Pushkin Museum (Bernovo)
About museum
On June 6, 1971, the A. S. Pushkin Museum was opened in Bernovo, housed in the Vulfov manor house. The first floor presents the exhibition 'Pushkin in the Staritsa Uyezd', portraits of estate owners and the addressees of Pushkin's lyric poetry, as well as household items and paintings recalling the former destroyed estates of Kurovo-Pokrovskoye and Malinniki. The second floor features a rural 'Onegin's study' and interiors of a noble manor house from the first half of the 19th century. A park adjoining the Vulfov house has been reconstructed in the style of 18th-century French formal and English romantic parks.
