A. N. Scriabin Memorial Museum
About museum
The Memorial Museum of Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin is the only museum in the world dedicated to the famous Russian composer. The museum's exhibition is located in the apartment where Scriabin spent the last years of his life with his family. The apartment's original interior has been fully preserved; it was a meeting place for the brightest representatives of the talent-rich Silver Age. The museum attracts not only professional musicians but also a wide audience, presenting a typical example of an urban apartment of the late 19th — early 20th century in the Art Nouveau style. The museum hosts lecture and concert programs, literary meetings and creative evenings. In 2013 the Center for Cultural Innovations "Scriabin House" was opened, which combines the classical culture of Russian music and the innovations that Alexander Nikolayevich loved. Thus, the A. N. Scriabin Museum has become not only a place of remembrance and celebration of the composer, but also a cultural center.
