The museum also hosts exhibitions and local history lectures. Today the "Vaninsky District Local History Museum" is one of the most important tourist attractions in the district.
The "Vaninsky District Local History Museum" was opened on December 9, 2011, on the basis of MBU "RDK" in Khabarovsk Krai. The museum's main exhibition includes typological exhibits provided by port workers, as well as items reflecting the history and culture of the Far East. The museum regularly holds exhibitions and lectures. Today it is one of the main tourist attractions in the Vaninsky District. Here you can see an anchor with a chain, a ship's compass, a pelengator (direction finder), the wooden part of the frigate "Pallada", photographs and maps of Khabarovsk Krai.
