I. S. Konev Memorial House-Museum

About museum

On October 22, 1977, the I. S. Konev house-museum was opened in the village of Lodeyno. Konev was twice named a Hero of the Soviet Union. The museum presents materials illustrating all aspects of Konev's life and activities. Visitors will see the house where the marshal lived and was born, as well as household and peasant work items. In addition, they can view documents, photographs, personal belongings, gifts and souvenirs presented to Konev by fellow servicemen, labor collectives and foreign states. The museum also features a square with a bust, works by Vuchetich, an exhibition hall, a lecture hall and a library. All of this makes the Konev house-museum an interesting and informative place for visitors.
