Arbi Shamsudinovich Mamakayev (1918–1958) — a well-known Chechen poet, the creator of a new form of versification in Vainakh poetry. The Arbi Mamakayev Literary and Memorial Museum was established in 1989 as a people's museum in the village of Nadterechnoe (Laxa-Nevre) of the Chechen Republic. Director — Eduard Mamakayev.
During the republic's most difficult years, the A. Mamakayev Museum, despite all hardships and lack of funding, continued to grow thanks to the initiative of its founders and the local community.
More than two thousand exhibits are displayed in the museum's nine work rooms, telling not only about Arbi and his literary heritage, but also about the historical past — daily life, culture, etc.
