The A. A. Fadeev Museum was founded on September 4, 1960, at the initiative of local residents and is the only literary and memorial museum of Alexander Fadeev in the country. The writer spent his childhood and youth here, took part in the partisan movement in 1918–1920, and began his literary career. The museum's exhibition consists of three sections: "Life and Work of the Writer A. A. Fadeev", "Pages from the History of the Chuguyevsky District", "Archaeological Monuments and Finds Discovered in the Territory of the Chuguyevsky District". The collection includes rare photographs, first editions of books, personal belongings, furniture from his study, original illustrations for Fadeev's works, as well as works by Glebov, Chebotarev and Romanyuk. The museum vividly and comprehensively presents the main stages of Alexander Fadeev's life and work, as well as the fates of his relatives, friends, and the characters of his works.
