Naum Matveyevich Zasimov Art Gallery
About museum
The art gallery — almost a contemporary of the Center of Culture 'Sargy tuulgete' — began its work in 1994.
\r\n
\r\nSince those distant 1990s, the art gallery has made a huge contribution to the educational, cultural and aesthetic development of children, youth and the population as a whole. Since its foundation the gallery has been headed by Lyudmila Alexandrovna Zasimova, a person who has put her whole soul into and is devoted to this work.

\r\nNaum Matveyevich confidently enters the world of his subjects — those who worked on the Baikal–Amur Mainline, in the development of Southern Yakutia, in the construction of the Deputatsky Mining and Processing Complex, into the life of rural workers, as well as reindeer herders, fishermen and hunters of the Far North. The Naum Matveyevich Zasimov Art Gallery at the Center of Culture is located on the 2nd floor of the CKiNT 'Sargy tuulgete'. The storage/fund area totals 42 square meters. The foyer on the second floor, with an area of 98 square meters, is used for traveling exhibition displays. The permanent exhibition occupies 54.3 square meters. At present the gallery has two staff members: an exhibitions specialist — L.A. Zasimova, and a restorer — A.E. Kychkin, whose duties include carrying out primary restoration work, inventorying, storage, ensuring the preservation of museum items and collections, and the packing and transportation of works of art.
