About museum

In the village of Staraya Kiremet, on December 9, 2000, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the great Tatar poet, a classic of Tatar literature Hasan Tufan, the Hasan Tufan House-Museum was opened. The opening of the house-museum was attended by the First President of the Republic of Tatarstan, M. Sh. Shaimiev.

In 2011 the building was reconstructed. The Hasan Tufan House-Museum hosts various events: evenings, exhibition and book presentations, meetings, lectures, lessons, master classes, meetings, theatrical performances. Work with the younger generation is also carried out systematically; the institution’s staff strive to convey the atmosphere of the past century.
