Udmurt Cultural Center in the village of Sundur
About museum
On the Center's grounds there is a wooden izba (traditional log house) with a working stove, showcasing exhibitions that tell about the culture of the Udmurt people. In the utility rooms you can see traditional weaving looms, woven textiles, household items, as well as various carpentry tools and objects made with them. In the guest area, master classes are held on preparing national dishes and beverages followed by tastings. In the yard you can find traditional Udmurt outbuildings, as well as a playground for visitors. A distinctive feature of the Center is that everything here is alive: from Lopsho Pedun to the museum exhibits. You can not only look, but also feel the atmosphere of Udmurt hospitality, work with the craftsmen and with Lopsho Pedun.
