Following tradition, on April 18, the International Day for Monuments and Sites, staff of the A.N. Radishchev Museum took part in the campaign 'All-Russian Day of Care for Historical and Cultural Monuments'.
On the museum grounds, the bust of Alexander Nikolayevich Radishchev was put in order. This is the first monument to A. N. Radishchev in the village of Verkhnee Abliazovo (now the village of Radishchevo), which was installed near the museum building in 1949, when the 200th anniversary of the writer's birth was celebrated. The author of the bust is the Penza sculptor Yelena Fyodorovna Kochuashvili.
Students from the school in the village of Radishchevo joined the campaign. They helped improve the grounds around the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, a monument of federal significance.
