About museum
On December 17, 2004, at the Murmansk Regional Art Museum, with the participation of the "Russia" program, the exhibition "Three Centuries of Russian Art" and the information and educational center "Russian Museum: Virtual Branch" were opened. It consists of a 50-seat multimedia cinema and an information and educational center with seven workstations. Here visitors can learn to use a graphics editor, learn to draw, and gain knowledge of the history of fine art. As part of the project "Museum and School: Together into the Future," a program for teachers is presented that acquaints them with extracurricular events and programs. The multimedia cinema hosts seminars and master classes, and also screens films about the types, genres, and movements of fine art, about the history of Saint Petersburg, and about the collection of the Russian Museum.
