Exhibition Hall of the Yakutsk Art Museum
About museum
Exhibition activities are an important communication channel that allow visitors to learn about the museum. In 2002, the Exhibition Hall of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) was opened in the Komdragmetall building at 12 Kirov Street. Temporary exhibitions of contemporary Yakut artists are held here; the main principles for selecting works are quality, novelty, originality, and expressiveness. Museum staff continue to systematize, study, and compile the diverse collections, as well as to continually add new exhibits. Requests for guided tours are accepted in advance, and tours are entrusted to the museum's research staff.
