Sarapul Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve invites all lovers of history and art to get acquainted with the rich cultural environment of the Middle Kama region! The Sarapul Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve is the oldest institution in the Udmurt Republic; it was officially established in 1909. It houses extensive and unique collections numbering more than 200,000 items: ancient Egyptian cult figurines, the famous standard of Napoleon's Guard, printed books, daguerreotypes and newsreel footage. The museum's art collection is also a true treasure. Currently the museum is located in the building of the Nikolaev Four-Class School and also includes memorial sites and museums. The museum-reserve invites all lovers of history and art to explore the rich cultural heritage of the Middle Kama region!
