About museum

At the State Autonomous Cultural Institution (GAUK) "Kuzbass State Local History Museum" there is a History Department located in the city center, opposite the Natural History Department. The department's exhibits and displays show the development of society from the 17th to the 21st century, as well as the historical heritage of the Kemerovo Region. Here visitors can step into several eras and immerse themselves in Russian history, as well as understand the role of Kuzbass in the historical process. It also fosters a sense of pride and responsibility in the younger generation for the present and the future.
