About museum
The Museum of the History of Izobilnensky District was established in 1979 at the initiative of reserve officers as a district historical-revolutionary museum of labor and military glory. The core of its collection was formed by the personal collection of A. P. Sklyarov, a participant in the Great Patriotic War. The museum actively cooperated with A. V. Sulyga, V. D. Kalmykov, A. A. Sinkliner, A. V. Smirskaya, and A. E. Bogachkova. The museum is located in the center of the town of Izobilny.
